Christie has been involved in ATD for 25 years: serving the local chapter, then the National Advisors to Chapters, and finally the National Board of Directors. She was part of the Program Advisory Committee for two years, and then served as Chair in 2016. She regularly judges the Excellence in Practice Awards, speaks at ATD ICE and delivers ATD Webcasts. She has spoken in Singapore, Taipei, Mumbai, Bangalore, Beijing and Sao Paulo to ATD audiences, as well as keynoted at a Core4 Conference
