Data literacy is the ability to read, write, communicate, and persuade with data. Join this session to participate in a simulated project. You will use your fundamental data literacy skills to analyze a learning dashboard, decide what data insights are true, and determine whether the pilot was successful. You will leave with resources to build similar experiences for your team. There will also be a discussion about potential biases, mistakes, and misconceptions. Note: this is a fundamental data literacy session not covering learning analytics, statistical methodologies, or sophisticated measurement frameworks.
